PMCL members attended the 38th American Society of Precision Engineering annual meeting! Four projects from our group were presented at the conference by Jingjie, Ian, Laura, and Sean.
We are also extremely excited to receive multiple awards at the conference:
- Dr. Lei Zhou was awarded the ASPE Early Career Award
- Jingjie was awarded the Jan van Eijk Student Scholarship
- Sean was awarded the Tom Dow Student Scholarship
- Laura was awarded the ASPE Student Scholarship
- The team with Ian won the third-place winner in the 10th ASPE student challenge
- The team with Sean, Seonghyo, and Yifeng won the first-place winner in the student challenge
We also enjoyed our UW-Madison and UT-Austin subgroups reunion in Boston: it was wonderful to celebrate the great conference together!
